TeamStrategize’s vertical, TS@IiT, had the honor of being invited by KUTIC to participate in the evaluation of the Pre-incubation pitching session of their event “PRAYAS 2.0” at Kurukshetra University on April 27, 2024. The 19 teams shortlisted for this round, presented their pitch decks session to the esteemed panelists from various industries providing guidance and evaluating the ideas presented. The session proved to be immensely insightful for both the industry experts and students.

Ms. Malobika Sengupta, Ms. Monalisa Mallick, and Mr. Viswaroop Bhattacharya (Co-Founder, TeamStrategize), along with Ms. Seema Prasad Avasarala, Ms. Madhu Bajpai, Mr. Munish Kumar, and Mr. Shivam Sharma, were invited as panelists to assess the innovative ideas presented by the university students. The evaluation criteria included innovation, plan of action, criticality/impact, technology, market readiness and scalability of the ideas.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Anurekha Sharma for providing us with this opportunity and commend Mr. Manoj Sharma and the esteemed faculty members of the KUTIC Team for their exceptional coordination of this session.

Any person with strong emotional intelligence are more aware of their own strengths, flaws and prejudices – AGREE? In today’s world critical skill like Emotional Intelligence is a much needed skill , it not only allows a person to make the right decisions but can make a person more objective in their decision that benefits the long term goals of the organisation. 

Keeping this is mind, we conducted an Introductory Session on Emotional Intelligence: A Success Mantra for Budding Entrepreneurs with our mentor Ms. Lata Singh , Founder Director , MEQ Academy  on 25th April 2024. 

During the session, she gave valuable insights on the subject, its importance and why it’s an essential skill for START-UP SUCCESS. She further provided practical tips for developing and applying this valuable trait. Ms.Singh also gave an insights on the upcoming TS@IiT Masterclass Series on Emotional Intelligence for budding entrepreneurs which is starting from May 2024. She concluded the session with a Q&A Round.

We are thrilled to share the news of our partnership with the Kurukshetra University Technology Incubation Centre (KUTIC) for Prayas 2.0, an Innovation Challenge event in 2024. In this collaboration TeamStrategize, will be offering hands-on support to KUTIC students, providing them with mentorship and guidance as they navigate their startup journeys.

Mentoring plays a crucial role in enhancing skills and fostering a culture of learning, empowering individuals to embark on their journeys with confidence. With this as the motto at TS@IiT we conducted our inaugural mentoring session at Kurukshetra University for the participants of Prayas 2.0. 

The session was organised by Kurukshetra University Technology Incubation Centre (KUTIC) under the leadership of Dr. Anurekha Sharma. It was both enriching and insightful, allowing us to engage with talented individuals and aspiring entrepreneurs showcasing their innovative ideas and designs. We are dedicated to continuing our mentorship to help them prepare for the final presentation round.

We express our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Anurekha Sharma for this opportunity and applaud Mr. Manoj Sharma and the esteemed faculty members of the KUTIC Team for their exceptional coordination of this session.

We are happy to share that  TS@IiT Mentor Ms. Lata Singh was invited by AMET University for their closing session of Faculty Development Program on April 5,2024. 

The session was inaugurated by Dr.T Sasilatha from AMET University, who welcomed a large gathering of faculties and students from various institutes. Ms Lata Singh, spoke about EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND BUILDING RESILIENCE IN THE START-UP ECOSYSTEM.

People ideate a thousand things, and a handful of them evolve in the form of start-ups. But unlike an already established business, start-ups demand laser-focused attention. Therefore one has to make an effective marketing plan and in today’s world Social Media playsthe most dynamic role in any start-ups  success. Social media marketing help start-ups to expand their network and gain access to audience at a faster note.

Keeping in mind the importance of social media, TS@IiT under its entrepreneurship series conducted another workshop on March 22, 2024. The focus of the workshop was Social Media Marketing for Early Start-ups.  The workshop was delivered by Mr. Rajorshi Haldar, a seasoned Trainer as well as our start-up mentor. He delved on various points, primarily on the importance of Social Media, how early start-ups can project their service / product using social media tools. The session was followed by a Q&A Round.

As part of  our collaboration with  DIIF (DPSRU INNOVATION & INCUBATION FOUNDATION) , Team TS@IiT conducted  the second Pre-Incubation Series Workshop on March 22,2024. The workshop was delivered by Mr. Kartik Menon, an eminent Chartered Accountant and TS@IiT mentor. Mr. Menon delved on various aspects of Incorporation of a Company, primarily on the compliances portions, documentation requirement, process to be followed, post Incorporation Process, appointment of Auditors etc. The session was followed by Q&A Round. As usual the workshop was highly interactive and the students got all their queries answered by Mr. Menon. One of our co-founder Mr. Viswaroop Bhattacharya also had the opportunity of attending this informative workshop on behalf of Team TS.DIIF (DPSRU INNOVATION & INCUBATION FOUNDATION) 

Ms Malobika Sengupta (Co-Founder Team TS@IiT was invited by AMET University for their inaugural session of Faculty Development Program on March 25,2024. The session was inaugurated by Dr.T Sasilatha from AMET University, who welcomed a large gathering of faculties and students from various institutes. Ms Malobika Sengupta, spoke about the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and how it fosters growth among the aspiring entrepreneurs . The programme is designed to train and develop professionals and faculty in the area of Entrepreneurship ecosystem so that they can act as ‘Resource Persons’ in guiding and motivating young students, particularly from science & technology stream, to take up Entrepreneurship as their career. Going forward, the Faculty Development program will become a catalyst in exchanging viable ideas, forge meaningful partnerships with different stakeholders from start-up ecosystem.

TeamStrategize has collaborated with Kurukshetra University  Technology Incubation Centre (KUTIC) for Prayas 2.0, an Innovation Challenge 2024 event. Under this collaboration we will be hand holding their students during the event as well as provide mentoring and guidance in their initial start-up journey. As part of this collaboration, the first workshop was organised  on 7th March 2024. Dr. Manu Dalela, PHD from IIT Delhi and our expert mentor took the session on Idea Generation for Start-ups. Mr. Menon highlighted various aspects that needs to be considered while starting out sustainable and scalable businesses. During the session Dr.Dalela also encouraged students to think of the various problems and viable solution while working on their ideas. He spoke about generating ideas that would be viable as businesses and encouraged students to think about uniqueness, feasibility and competition as well.

 

TS@IiT conducted an Interactive workshop on Identifying Problems to Solve through Patent Analytics by Ms. Gauri Waghmare on 25.02.2024. The event was a super success. The workshop was not only highly interactive but the fact that the participants wanted more such workshops was highly satisfying.

 

TS@IiT, an initiative by TeamStrategize had the opportunity to attend Global Sustainability Conclave -2024 organised by PHDCCI at Le Meridien Hotel on March 20,2024. 

The event saw many ESG and Sustainability experts sharing their experiences, the challenges /Solutions in achieving the SGD goals. It was indeed a pleasure to hear the view point of Eminent Business personalities, ESG experts, Sustainability champions as well as Start-up founders working in this domain. The panel discussions covered topics like: 

  • Net Zero-Achieving the Dream
  • Sustainable Excellence – A Deep Dive into the Best Practices
  • Pioneering the Future-Innovations in
  • Technology for Sustainable Solutions
  • Investment Opportunities in Sustainability

An informative event that gave us a platform to exchange ideas, forge meaningful partnerships with different stakeholders from the corporate world as well as start-up ecosystem. The summit gave us an enriching experience filled with insightful panel discussions and invaluable networking opportunities.

TeamStrategize extends heartiest congratulations to NTPC School of Business for being part of the first Indian edition of the iconic book Essentials of Modern Marketing by Dr. Philip Kotler.


Our team had the opportunity to meet Dr. Rajeshwari Narendran the Director of the School to felicitate the participation and hand over the book. We also appreciated the effort by the team on developing the case study and certificates were handed over to her and the team.

 

TeamStrategize is collaborating with DIIF (DPSRU INNOVATION & INCUBATION FOUNDATION) for hand holding their students in the start-up ecosystem. As part of this journey, the first workshop was organised on the Pre-Incubation Series.

Team TS@IiT was invited to attend “Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Boot camps” at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida as jury member. The event was spearheaded by Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under the Smart India Hackathon. 


The IDE-bootcamp was an intensive 5 days hands-on, experiential learning program where students from different institutes got an opportunity to implement multiple product design methodologies &  Inculcate design thinking concepts in their selected projects. Approximately 150+ participants attended this boot camp. On the 5th day of the event (February 2,2024), a pitching session was conducted wherein 25 eminent panellist were invited to the pitching round and guided around 35-40 teams with their feedback. Ms. Monalisa Mallick (Co-founder -TeamStrategize) along with Ms. Rashmi Chopra (Founder,Ecloset), Mr. Shubham Prajapati (Co-Founder-Innovative Scripts)and Mr Nipun Kohli (Co-Founder at EduExcel) as panellist evaluated some innovative ideas presented by students of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies and Satyug Darshan Institute of Engineering and Technology on the basis of Innovation, Plan of Action, Criticality/Impact, Technology and Evaluating the market readiness and scalability of the idea. 


We thank Mr. Abhishek Ranjan Kumar ji for inviting us to witness the grand event and be a part of a wonderful session. A big shout out to the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) for orchestrating this transformative bootcamp with AICTE and Wadhwani Foundation. 

 

Valuation is a very critical element for the startups keeping that in mind, TS@IiT had organised a virtual session on VALUATION AND FUND RAISING which was conducted by our expert mentor Mr.Mohit Mittal. During the session he shared valuable insignts on the nuances of Valuation of a start-up and its various approaches. The participants were given a first hand knowledge of Fundraising process and strategies.The interactive session saw many young innovators and entreprenuers from the start-up world sharing their views and experience. VALUATION AND FUND RAISING

TEAM TS@IiT at Chintan Shivir held at Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU)

Team TS@IiT had the opportunity to attend BADLAAV: The B-plan Competition conducted by DIIF: DPSRU Innovation and Incubation Foundation on 13th October 2023, in association with DPSRU-CRTDH, as a part of Chintan Shivir held at Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU). 

The competition BADLAV, provided a dynamic platform to foster innovation and address challenges faced by MSME. Eight teams were shortlisted for the offline round. They presented their pitch decks and engaged in a QnA session with the judges. Participants were asked to pitch their innovative ideas and business plans for either of the two problem statements:
1. Med Assortment
2. Employees’ Well Being

Pitching @ DPSRU (Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University)
Our colleague, Viswaroop Bhattacharya (Co-Founder & Partner, TeamStrategize) was invited to judge a Pitch Session at India’s first pharmaceutical university, DPSRU on 08.11.2023. The session at the premier university was chaired by Dr. Harvinder Popli (Registrar, DPSRU & Dean, Research Innovation and International Affairs and Director, DIIF). The pitches were extremely innovative and was followed by a QnA session with the judges.

TS@IiT had organised a virtual session on The Life of an IP and Tech Transfer professional which was conducted by our Mentor and Collaborator Ms.Pooja Bhatia, CLP,RTTP,Patent Agent . Ms.Bhatia shared about the skills required to be a Technology transfer professional. The participants were given a first-hand knowledge of the Patent Law & Patent Searches process in detail along with filing procedures, strategies of protection applicable in India. She also took the opportunity to guide the participant about the basic tools which will help them understand their invention in the light of its novelty, assessment of competitor patents etc. The interactive session saw many IP professional as well innovators from the start-up world sharing their views. We thank our mentor Mr. Pooja Bhatia for such an insightful session.
