If you’re a startup or MSME based in Tamil Nadu, this could be your golden opportunity to turn your innovative idea into a market-ready solution.
The Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII-TN), an initiative under the Government of Tamil Nadu, is currently running its flagship Innovation Voucher Programme (IVP). This program provides critical funding and expert support to help entrepreneurs across sectors like health, agriculture, food tech, environment, and energy bring their innovations to life.
What Is the IVP?
The Innovation Voucher Programme (IVP) is designed to bridge the funding and mentorship gap for early-stage innovators. Through the IVP, startups and MSMEs can receive financial support for activities ranging from feasibility studies to full-scale prototyping and commercialization.
There are two types of vouchers available under the program:
- Voucher A: Up to ₹2 lakh
- Use for R&D activities such as technology roadmaps, feasibility studies, and developing a working prototype.
- Voucher B: Up to ₹5 lakh
- Use for commercialization-focused activities like product testing, market validation, intellectual property (IP) filing, and final product development.
Note: To apply for Voucher B, applicants must have a minimum CIBIL score of 750 and be ready to co-finance a part of the cost.
